Benefits Of Reflexology And Reiki

“Reflexology is more detoxifying than a full body massage.” Claire Marie Miller, Massage Hall of Fame

“Reiki complements other types of medical and therapeutic treatments, and it can increase the efficacy of other types of healing.” Victoria Bodner, Reiki Master

There are many benefits to be gained from complementary modalities:

  • Physician orders are not required for these therapies; they can be readily accessed by anyone.

  • Both reflexology and reiki are included in the health topics of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health, and research in both reflexology and reiki has shown positive outcomes in many disease processes, including pain management.

  • My charges are more in line with those of insurance co-payments. Unlike other countries, in the US these modalities are not covered by insurance, and I feel these modalities should be accessible to all and therefore offer more reasonable rates.

My reflexology sessions are not cookie-cutter massages. I utilize nursing assessment and therapeutic protocols to assist others in obtaining a higher level of wellness. I customize treatments to the needs of my clients and set goals for their care. It is felt that pain, stress and emotions are stored in our bodies, and assisting others in managing pain and improving relaxation is my primary focus. I look forward to working with you towards your wellness goals.
